Tarmac America provides building supplies for new AMVETS Post

Press ReleaseFeb. 4, 2010

Tarmac America recently donated construction materials for the new AMVETS William Crow Memorial Post 447 building in Inglis. The Post is at 33 Risher Avenue and will be relocated to a new building at the intersection of Sapp Street and Highway 40 East in Inglis. Tarmac donated three pallets of block, and enough masonry cement and stucco for the entire project. The new building is expected to be completed in two months.

Shown accepting the Tarmac donation of construction materials are, from left, Jeff Peters of AMVETS Post 447; Jeff Harris, King Road Mine project manager for Tarmac; contractor Greg Walker; AMVETS Post 447 Commander Steve Addison; and Angel Almeida of Tarmac. This is the second project that Tarmac has helped build in Inglis. Last year the company also provided an entire truckload of construction materials for the new Inglis City Park.
