Following the Super Bowl we crown the winner of our annual football prediction contest, Pigskin Predictors. Predictors are given a set of 20 games every week, and they do their best to predict the winners. We had one 10-0 week and the predicter was Jeff Harris, Tarmac. This was the first 10-0 week in three years. It is very difficult to pick all the winners in one week.

Congratulations to our 2010 season winner Jeff Harris, Plant Manager of Tarmac's King Road Mine. Jeff won by five games over runner up Harold Beasley. Harold edged out Chris Nielsen for 2nd place. Jeff's winning percentage was .620 which rivals some of the "professional" predictions we've seen on various sports networks.

Jeff is a die hard Virgina Tech fan and alum. Jeff finished 3rd in our bowl game challenge, but accumulated enough wins 18-13, to hang on with a comfortable lead. Jeff's overall Season record was 133-78, five games ahead of Harold. This is one of the best finishes in our 10 years of playing Pigskin Predictors. For more information on playing in The Newscaster Pigskin Predictors email us at: info@thenewscaster.com. It was a Great Season — See You Next Year!
