ECONOMIC BENEFITS

Once the King Road Mine is approved, millions of dollars in new revenue will flow into Levy County through Tarmac's investments in construction, employee spending and job growth in other sectors, including Tarmac’s ad valorem taxes on machinery and equipment.

The project is expected to generate:

• 60 jobs in the construction phase
• 35 full-time positions once operations begin
• Up to 200 spinoff jobs throughout the region
• More than $100 million in construction spending and permitting
