COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT—INVESTING IN LEVY COUNTY

Tarmac is an international corporation which has had a Florida presence for over 25 years. We employ nearly 1,000 people statewide in our quarry, concrete-block, ready-mix concrete, sand and transportation facilities across the state. Tarmac takes pride in its civic and community partnerships throughout the state, and has already forged strong relationships in Levy County since locating to the area in 2007.

In 2008, Tarmac opened an office in Inglis at #24 Highway 40 East to allow area residents the opportunity to interact directly with company officials. Here at this office, the public can get updates on the King Road Mine, as well as information on opportunities the mine will bring to the community. The office is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information, call 1-352-447-2074.
